The 2024 Trade Show Tour Candia Professional Continues Its International Trade Show Tour in Q2 2024

From April to June, Candia Professional has continued its international trade show tour, strengthening its presence in key markets around the world. Here is an overview of our participation in these major events.

We start in April (23-26) with the FHA in Singapore

A resounding success following 4 days of high-quality business exchanges and pastry tastings. This event enabled Candia Professional to strengthen its presence in Asia by organising fruitful meetings with customers and new prospects from all over the region.

One of the main objectives of our participation was to promote Sodiaal and highlight our cooperative and its global leadership. Under the #MadewithLove banner, we highlighted our identity and values. In terms of innovation, Candia Professional presented Gourmet Cream, a gourmet cream renowned for its excellent stability and richer taste. Through demonstrations of finished products and cakes made by François Galtier, we were able to illustrate the technical advantages of our products and reaffirm the superiority of Candia Professional.

Participating in the FHA was a valuable opportunity to demonstrate our commitment to innovation and quality, while strengthening our position in the Asian market.

Continuing in May (21-24) with Bakery China in Shanghai

Sixth consecutive participation under the aegis of SODIAAL. An attractive stand, a real centre of attraction, thanks in particular to the presence of our chef ambassador, Baptiste Villefranque. Candia Professional Signature Whipping Cream 35% and Gourmet Cream 40% were showcased during tastings that captivated visitors.

The event set a new record this year, with an exhibition area of over 330,000 m², a 50% increase on 2023. More than 2,200 exhibitors, including a growing number of international exhibitors (up 20% on the previous year), welcomed more than 400,000 visitors.

Our participation had a number of objectives: to increase brand awareness and SODIAAL’s presence, to meet our partners and gather new prospects, and to officially launch our Gourmet Cream 40%. Our stand also had the honour of receiving a visit from Mr Joan Valadou, Consul General of France.

We saw a significant increase in direct contact with customers, which enabled us to better understand their concerns, particularly in terms of price and cost reduction. The launch of Gourmet Cream 40% has been a success, receiving widespread public acclaim. We have also seen an increase in local players in the Chinese dairy market and greater investment by foreign brands in China.

The next edition of Bakery China will be held from 19 to 22 May 2025 in Shanghai, and we look forward to participating again to further strengthen our presence and impact in the Asian market.

May was also a busy month with SIAL Canada

From 15 to 17 May 2024, Candia Professional took part in the 21st edition of the Salon International de l’Alimentation (SIAL) in Canada, which alternates every year between Toronto and Montreal. At this year’s event, Candia Professional focused on promoting the new Gourmet Cream and revamping the range.

With 23,000 visitors, each of whom represents a potential buyer, SIAL offers an exceptional platform to showcase Candia Professional’s innovation and seek out new importers. Our products were displayed in showcases, allowing visual enhancement without tasting, to maximise visibility and aesthetic appeal.

And we end this quarter with June at the Fancy Food Show in New York.

From 23 to 25 June 2024, Candia Professional will be taking part in this key event for the 6th time.

With over 100,000 verified buyers and 30,000 visitors in 2023, the Fancy Food Show offered us an unrivalled opportunity to showcase our Signature range.

Candia Professional continues to impress and innovate, exhibiting on the food industry’s biggest international stages.
